If realizing tax savings while supporting your favorite charity has appeal, you may want to learn more about National City Charitable Gift Fund®, a new donor-advised fund that makes gifting to public charities easy and rewarding.

Armada Funds and National City have partnered with several foundations, including the Cleveland Foundation, the Columbus Foundation, the Kalamazoo Community Foundation, and the Dayton Foundation, to offer the National City Charitable Gift Fund®. As a donor-advised fund, the Charitable Gift Fund is neither a mutual fund nor an investment.

The assets donated to National City Charitable Gift Fund® are invested with the donor's advice in an Armada Mutual Fund, managed by National City Investment Management Company (IMC), a wholly owned subsidiary of National City Corporation. Donors may recommend one of three asset allocation funds:
  • Armada Conservative Asset Allocation Fund for near term giving
  • Armada Balanced Asset Allocation Fund for intermediate term growth
  • Armada Aggressive Asset Allocation Fund for future generations of grants

A minimum donation of $10,000 per fund is required to open a National City Charitable Gift Fund®.
