Asset allocation, which is the way your assets are invested among the various asset classes, is the single most important factor in the success or failure of your investment plan. To give you an idea of how you might consider allocating your assets, answer the questions below as accurately as possible. 1	If I received a windfall, I would invest it in something that offered moderate current income and was very safe.

2	I would be very concerned if the value of my portfolio suddenly declined because I cannot accept fluctuations in the value of my portfolio.
